Are wraps healthy?
Wraps do not have an extremely healthy image. The ‘standard’ white wraps that are eaten a lot are indeed not the best option. They contain little fiber and are therefore comparable to, for example, white bread. You can also buy whole-grain wraps in most supermarkets, and they are already a lot better.
At the Albert Heijn you can also buy vegetable wraps, which consist for about 40% of beet or root. If you want to be 100% sure that there are no crazy ingredients, you can always make them yourself.

Then you only have to invest that wrap with your favorite ingredients and put it under the grill for a few minutes.

Tortilla chips are delicious, but unfortunately not very healthy. Still feel like a crispy snack? Then you can also make your own chips with corn tortillas! The advantage is that you do not have to fry them, which saves a lot of unhealthy fats. You can also make your own chips a lot less salty.
For homemade tortilla chips, cut corn wraps into triangular dots and sprinkle with paprika, salt and some olive oil. Then bake for ten minutes at 200 degrees, and done! For example, you can serve them with guacamole, or with another (homemade) sauce of your choice.
